Java Developer

We are looking for a highly motivated Application Engineer with hands-on experience in Java, HTTP APIs, Linux, and MySQL/Oracle to work on VAS telecom applications including CRBT, VMS (Voice Mail System), MCA (Missed Call Alert), Call Signature, Beep-Call and related products.

The selected candidate will be responsible for Development, deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, L3 support, and feature implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the requirement, Design & Develope/customize the appliaction.
• Install, configure and support VAS applications such as VMS, MCA, Call Signature, Beep-call and other similar telecom platforms.
• Troubleshoot application issues in Linux-based environments and perform root cause analysis.
• Work on HTTP/S APIs, REST integrations, and telecom signalling protocols exposure is a plus.
• Debug application logs, identify performance bottlenecks and resolve service failures.
• Manage production releases, version upgrades, and platform rollout.
• Write and optimize SQL queries; manage MySQL/Oracle DB objects (tables, procedures, triggers).
• Coordinate with telecom operators, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Work closely with Product and GCS teams for enhancement or defect support.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and change management records.
• Provide 24×7 on-call support on rotation for critical issues (if needed).

• Strong knowledge of Java , C/C++ application development, debugging & log analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Linux / Shell scripting.
• Experience working with MySQL / Oracle Database (queries, joins, indexing, procedures).
• Good understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, XML.
• Knowledge of Tomcat / JBoss / Weblogic / Webservers.
• Understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, firewalls, routing).
• Exposure to telecom protocols (SMPP, SIP, RTP, Diameter) will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, VM, Docker, Kubernetes) will be beneficial.
