The SciNova team are looking to speak with Software Developers with a background in programming in C++ and Python. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising high-performance algorithms that power advanced medical imaging and data processing solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging real-time applications where performance, reliability, and quality are critical

Role responsibilities:

• Design and develop software algorithms and codes for medical device applications.
• Contribute to software architecture, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Develop robust, maintainable, and testable code in accordance with software quality standards.
• Support verification, validation, and documentation activities required within a regulated development environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software performance and development processes.

Role requirements:

• Degree educated in an Engineering discipline - Software, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical etc.
• Excellent programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Strong experience developing GPU-accelerated applications using CUDA is highly desirable.
• Comfortable with image processing and/or video streaming rools.
• Experience profiling and optimising high-performance applications.
• Project management SME.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English and Proficient German is essential - applications who are not speaking German to a professional level will not be considered.
