Position
Java Application Developer
Location: Dallas, TX / New Jersey (Hybrid)
About The Team
Our Engineering team is responsible for building highly scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications that power mission-critical business solutions for Fortune 500 clients.
As a Senior Java Application Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing distributed systems while collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
You will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and help drive engineering best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality Java-based enterprise applications
- Build scalable, cloud-native distributed systems using modern software engineering principles
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define technical roadmaps and implementation strategies
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions
- Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, coding standards, automated testing, and best practices
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
- Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, and Documentation teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Build reliable, secure, and highly available enterprise applications
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across global locations
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline
- 8+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-grade Java applications
- Strong knowledge of:
- Core Java

- Experience building scalable cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Ability to mentor engineers and lead technical discussions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra
- Experience with messaging platforms such as Amazon SQS or Apache Kafka
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and secure application development
- Experience with Big Data technologies
- Experience building SaaS platforms and customer-facing enterprise products
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
