Java Software Engineer

Our client, a leading provider in banking, is hiring a Java Developer in Minneapolis, MN!

*This is a 1-year contract with benefits!*

In this role, you will design, develop, and support backend Java APIs and microservices for a new digital customer onboarding platform. You will work in an Agile environment to build scalable, resilient applications using Java, Spring, Kafka, and container technologies, while delivering high-quality, automated, and production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based APIs and microservices to support a new digital customer onboarding platform.
• Build and deploy scalable, resilient backend applications using Spring, Kafka, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and SQL/MongoDB technologies.
• Collaborate within Agile scrum teams to implement automated testing, troubleshoot issues, and deliver production-ready solutions on an aggressive timeline.

Requirments:

• 5+ years Java backend (REST APIs, Microservices)
• Spring, Kafka, SQL/MongoDB, Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Agile, GitHub, test automation experience
