About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level iOS Developer to join an innovative engineering team developing next-generation healthcare technology. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of native iOS applications that deliver seamless, secure, and intuitive experiences for users.

You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software, firmware, cloud, product, and quality engineering to build high-quality mobile solutions that support cutting-edge connected medical technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift.
• Build clean, scalable, and maintainable code following iOS best practices.
• Collaborate with backend, product, QA, and UX teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and cloud services into mobile applications.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
• Contribute to application architecture and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing mobile applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing native iOS applications.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and the iOS SDK.
• Experience building modern iOS applications using UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and working with JSON.
• Familiarity with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and mobile design best practices.
• Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM or MVC.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English within a collaborative engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or connected devices.
• Experience integrating cloud-based services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Experience with automated testing (XCTest).
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Previous experience developing applications for healthcare or regulated industries is a plus.
