People expect technology to work together.

You make sure it does.

Behind every lighting scene, cinema experience, touchscreen interface and automated onboard environment lies thousands of lines of code that connect every system into one seamless experience.

At VBH, we make that happen.

As a Programming Specialist, you'll develop and optimise the control systems behind some of the world's most advanced Superyachts. Working alongside System Engineers, AV Specialists and IT Specialists, you'll turn complex technical designs into intelligent control systems that connect every technology on board.

The Reality

Working in the Superyacht industry comes with high expectations.

Details matter.

Reliability matters.

Every line of code directly affects the onboard experience. That means you'll continuously balance functionality, usability and reliability while solving complex integration challenges across multiple technologies.

No two projects are the same. One day you'll be developing custom user interfaces and automation logic. The next you'll be integrating HVAC, lighting, AV and IT systems into one intuitive experience or supporting commissioning during project delivery.

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who combines deep programming expertise with a passion for system integration.

You'll enjoy solving complex automation challenges and turning advanced technology into intuitive user experiences.

You'll probably recognise yourself in this:

  • You have extensive experience programming Crestron control systems and are a Crestron Masters Certified Programmer (CMCP);
  • You're highly proficient in Crestron SIMPL, SIMPL+, SIMPL# and .NET development (C# / Visual Studio);
  • You have experience developing modern user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and UX/UI design principles;
  • You're experienced with technologies such as Crestron DM-NVX, DM Matrix Systems, Virtual Control, KNX, DALI, Lutron, HVAC systems and Q-SYS;
  • You understand integration protocols such as REST API, ModBus, BACnet and TCP/IP;
  • Knowledge of AV transport protocols such as Dante, RTP/RTCP, NDI, AES, UDP/TCP and related technologies is a strong advantage;
  • You enjoy collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and continuously improving technical solutions;

Most importantly, you believe that every line of code should contribute to a reliable, intuitive and exceptional user experience.

What You'll Get

At VBH, you'll work on projects that few software engineers ever experience.

In return, we offer:

  • A gross monthly salary between €4.055 and €5.933 based on your experience;
  • Travel allowance or company car;
  • Laptop and iPhone;
  • 25 vacation days;
  • Annual profit sharing;
  • Training and certification opportunities;
  • The freedom to develop innovative technical solutions;
  • The opportunity to work on some of the world's most advanced Superyacht projects.

Ready to program extraordinary experiences?

If you're looking for a place where technology, craftsmanship and innovation come together, we'd love to hear your story.
