Senior Flutter Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Flutter Developer to join our dynamic team.

We're also looking for someone fluent in modern AI-assisted development workflows, using tools like Claude Code to accelerate development without compromising code quality. Job Description:

As a Senior Flutter Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of advanced cross-platform mobile applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to design and implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure the highest level of quality. Your role will also involve mentoring junior developers and contributing to the overall architecture and technical direction of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Flutter Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Flutter applications for both Android and iOS platforms.

- Architectural Planning: Collaborate with the engineering team to define and implement application architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

- Feature Implementation: Translate UI/UX designs into efficient, responsive code with a focus on delivering a seamless user experience.

- Code Reviews: Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and maintainability.

- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate feature development, refactoring, debugging, and documentation, while maintaining strong code review discipline.

- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our development processes and product quality.

- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping to build their skills and grow their careers.

Qualifications:

- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Dart programming language.

- Strong understanding of Flutter framework and its core principles.

- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/integrations.

- Knowledge of native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development is a plus.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control systems.

- UI/UX: Ability to translate complex UI/UX designs into functional, high-performance code.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

AI-Assisted Development:

• Demonstrated skill using AI coding tools — particularly Claude Code — as part of the regular development workflow.
• Ability to effectively prompt, review, and refine AI-generated code, ensuring it meets production quality, security, and performance standards.
• Comfortable integrating AI tooling into debugging, testing, documentation, and refactoring workflows without over-relying on it for critical architectural decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with state management solutions: Proficiency in GetX is compulsory. Proficiency in others like Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod, is an added advantage.

- Knowledge of database systems like SQLite, Firebase, or similar.

- Experience in automated testing and test-driven development (TDD).

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Contributions to open-source Flutter projects or active participation in the Flutter community.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Comfortable working in an agile environment with shifting priorities.

• A pragmatic, ownership-driven mindset — someone who takes projects from concept to production.

• Curiosity and adaptability, especially around adopting new tools and workflows (including AI-assisted development).
