Platform Engineer with Golang

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer with strong Go (Golang) skills to join our engineering team. You will be working on an IoT solution, building containerized applications that operate close to hardware constraints. This role involves developing reliable services in a Linux environment and contributing to systems deployed across distributed or edge environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications and services using Go (Golang)
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for IoT system components
• Build, package, and deploy applications using Docker
• Work within a Linux environment for development, debugging, and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with IoT hardware and field devices
• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of containerized applications running on edge devices
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making

Must‑Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang)
• Experience with RESTful API development
• Hands-on experience with Docker (container build & runtime)
• Solid understanding of Linux environments

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with gRPC or GraphQL
• Knowledge of MQTT or other lightweight messaging protocols commonly used in IoT
• Background in distributed systems or edge computing
• Familiarity with hardware‑adjacent or resource‑constrained environments
