Want to shape the future of open source digital design?
We work with the newest, bleeding-edge chip design technologies. We develop open source tooling for ASIC designers and FPGA engineers. This includes SystemVerilog simulators, SystemVerilog-to-GDSII toolchains, and various tools aiming to ease development of hardware designs.
As a team member you will develop tools like simulators, compilers, synthesis, and place & route toolchains. This will involve implementing new features and fixing bugs, but also analyzing and improving performance, from improving algorithms to low-level optimizations. In everyday work you will use Linux and develop for Linux. You will be encouraged to automate your workflow with scripting whenever possible. You will be responsible for writing automated tests and Continuous Integration scripts for validating the software you create.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc degree in computer science, electronics or related fields
- good understanding of computer architectures and programming
- knowledge or willingness to learn compiler, simulator, synthesis tool development
- expertise in C, C++, and / or Rust
- knowledge of Linux as a development environment
- experience with Git, GCC, Clang, LLVM, make, CMake
- experience with Python, Bash, and / or other scripting languages is welcome
- permanent residency and eligibility to work in the EU
- readiness to work on-site
