About the Company



Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer (with child welfare domain) to join our team for one of our esteemed clients, based in Mechanicsburg, PA on fulltime basis.



About the Role



Role: Java Developer (with Legacy Technologies)



Responsibilities



  • Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, complex software systems.
  • Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and reliable.
  • Work across the full stack on both modern and legacy frameworks.



Qualifications



  • Required Experience: 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
  • Desired Domain Knowledge: State Project Integrated Eligibility (IE) applications, specifically covering:
  • SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
  • TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
  • MA (Medical Assistance / Medicaid)
  • Child Care or Child Support programs



Required Skills



  • Core & Legacy Java: Java, JSP, Servlet, JDBC
  • Frameworks: Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch
  • Frontend: Angular, React, JavaScript
  • Database: Oracle
  • DevOps & Infrastructure: CI/CD, DevOps, On-Premises or Cloud
