We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our growing team. As an established software company serving the equine industry, we develop innovative solutions that support horse show managers, show secretaries, exhibitors, judges, and breed and discipline associations across the country.

We're looking for a developer who enjoys solving complex problems and building software that has a direct impact on the day-to-day operations of equine events. Experience within the horse show industry is highly valued. Whether you've worked in a show office, managed competitions, exhibited, judged, or have a strong understanding of how horse shows operate, your industry knowledge will help shape the next generation of our software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement new software features and applications.
  • Enhance and maintain existing software platforms to improve performance, usability, and reliability.
  • Develop and integrate APIs with third-party systems and services.
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to identify business needs and deliver practical software solutions.
  • Contribute to the architecture and long-term direction of our equine event management platform.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow modern software development best practices.

Preferred Technical Qualifications

  • Proficiency with C# and .NET
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web APIs
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with React, JavaScript, HTML5, and modern front-end development
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development workflows

Preferred Experience

  • Professional software development experience in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in the horse show or equine industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small, agile team.
