Position Overview
A client of Insight Global is seeking a talented Java Spring Boot Developer with strong API development and SQL expertise to join their team. The role focuses on building scalable, high-performance enterprise APIs and supporting production systems for reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Design and implement scalable API services and microservices
- Build and support API integrations across multiple systems and applications
- Write efficient SQL queries, perform query optimization, and support database design
- Work closely with architects on API design, data modeling, and backend solutions
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices
- Develop unit tests and support automated testing
- Provide production support on a weekly basis, including issue resolution and monitoring
- Maintain and enhance existing Java applications and APIs
