Manufacturing systems developer(Software Engineer)

This is a Hybrid position based out of our Gunzenhausen (91710) site. You would only need to be onsite 1 day per week, with the rest being Work From Home (WFH), offering a great work-life balance (36-hour work week!).

What you will be doing:

• Developing applications and implementing software projects/technologies.
• Supporting and maintaining site-specific software projects in our manufacturing environment.
• Planning, implementing, and improving business processes.

Responsibilities

• Planning, implementation, and improvement of methods and business processes
• Leading and implementing software projects
• Application development
• Implementation of the software technologies, frameworks, and databases used in coordination with Corporate IT
• You will support and maintain installed, site-specific software projects in the manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• You have a successfully completed degree in computer science with several years of professional experience

Required Skills

• You possess excellent knowledge of MES/ERP database structures and functionalities
• You have knowledge of databases and SQL (Oracle, MS-SQL)
• Good programming skills in a high-level programming language such as JavaScript, VB.Net, C#, C++, Python, or similar are no challenge for you
• Good project management skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Independent and meticulous work ethic
