Software Integrator / DevOps Engineer

On behalf of SII Netherlands, we are looking for a professional Software Integrator / DevOps Engineer to join a high-tech engineering team.

In this role, you will be a key player in a team of approximately 20 engineers, focusing on the integration of complex environments.

You will ensure that integrated software packages are stable and ready for hand-over to various specialized software teams (including Systems engineering) for further implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate simulation software into the designated simulation platform.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in collaborative sprints and release cycles.
• Perform hands-on debugging and create documentation to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Support the transition of software packages to other engineering teams.

Technical Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in software integration and modern DevOps tooling.

Must-have Skills

• Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL8).
• Scripting & Languages: Proficiency in Bash scripting. Knowledge of Java and/or C++ is a significant plus.
• CI/CD & Build Tools: Experience with Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, and Python.
• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Podman.
• Version Control: Expertise in Git (GitLab/Bitbucket).
• Process Tools: Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Additional Requirements

• Nationality: Due to the nature of the projects and security requirements, candidates must hold Dutch Citizenship.
• Screening: A level B security screening (AIVD) is part of the onboarding process.
• Competencies: You are a proactive team player with strong communication skills and a "can-do" attitude toward debugging and problem-solving.
