Java Engineer

Responsibilities

• Be part of cleversoft’s high-performing, international Engineering team as a full-time member;
• Build new features and enhancements and improve existing ones on JVM-based software solutions;
• Develop architectural concepts and play an active role in shaping the cleversoft software suite;
• Opportunity to take the initiative to improve existing processes and solutions;
• You will work on multiple client solutions and an expanding portfolio of standard software solutions.

Requirements

Essential:

• At least 1-5 years of experience with the Java programming language in a professional environment;
• Knowledge in object-oriented principles, data structures and algorithms;
• Experience working with Git;
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Desirable:

• Experience with relational databases/SQL and API implementation following industry standards like REST;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Passion for learning new technologies and delivering high quality software that meets business requirements;
• Experience with Kotlin;
• Experience with JavaScript and React.js;
• Experience with a Java EE framework and server;
• Experience with JPA;
• Experience with the Scrum methodology.
