  • Design, develop, and maintain SDKs for Android and IoT devices, ranging from simple consumer hardware to complex multi-sensor and robotic platforms
  • Build clean, reusable, and scalable APIs that allow developers to integrate, control, and interact with hardware devices and robotic systems
  • Integrate SDKs with device hardware including sensors, cameras, navigation systems, and AI services
  • Work across communication protocols including TCP/IP, WebSocket, REST, Bluetooth, BLE, USB, MQTT, gRPC, I2C, and Serial
  • Read and interpret sensor datasheets, hardware documentation, and firmware specifications to inform SDK design and ensure accurate device communication
  • Develop sample Android applications demonstrating SDK functionality and real-world integration use cases
  • Write comprehensive developer documentation including API references, integration guides, and code samples
  • Debug and optimise SDK performance across different Android devices and hardware environments
  • Ensure backward compatibility and manage SDK versioning across product and firmware updates
  • Work closely with hardware, firmware, embedded systems, and application teams throughout the development lifecycle
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding and documentation standards
  • Support integration of SDKs with cloud services, AI platforms, and autonomous navigation systems where required

    • Requirements

  • Proven experience building SDKs or developer libraries from scratch across varied device types
  • Strong proficiency in one or more of: Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, WebSocket, BLE, Serial, I2C, or REST
  • Experience reading and interpreting sensor datasheets and hardware documentation to inform SDK design
  • Experience working across a range of hardware complexity levels, from simple single-function devices to multi-sensor systems
  • Ability to write clear, thorough developer documentation and practical code samples
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a low-level understanding of how hardware and software communicate
  • Good communication skills in English
