As a Senior Software Engineer – Middleware, you will design, develop, and maintain the integration layer connecting digital applications with enterprise and third-party systems. You will play a key role in building scalable APIs, supporting major delivery partners, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate innovation and delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and middleware services
  • Build and support integrations with third-party platforms such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and other marketplace partners
  • Ensure reliable order processing, menu synchronization, and real-time data exchange
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to improve productivity and code quality
  • Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to define and implement solutions
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to engineering team members
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and development standards
  • Support production systems and troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Contribute to CI/CD practices and infrastructure automation initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Strong experience building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript, Java, or C#
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, and SNS
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and API integrations
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Git workflows
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
  • Proficiency using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
