Objective:
To be responsible for the development and delivery of structured, well-tested software programs that support the Group’s application systems and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop software programs as per user requirements and approved business needs.
- Produce and deliver quality user interfaces that can be consumed across multiple user devices, applying responsive design techniques and adopting new and emerging technologies.
- Perform testing activities and prepare the required test documentation.
- Prepare technical and user documentation for developed programs.
- Provide user support and training for developed programs, as required.
- Troubleshoot issues related to application software.
- Debug application software to identify and resolve errors.
- Develop programs in compliance with application security standards and best practices.
- Comply with approved standards & procedures related to software development, coding, & source code control.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the reporting Manager/Supervisor.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or Master of Computer Applications.
Recommended Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of professional experience in business software development.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong software development skills with knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, database procedures, functions, packages, and SQL objects.
- Strong Knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive design techniques.
- Strong Knowledge of RESTful Web Services, API development, and API integration.
- Familiarity with Low-Code/No-Code development platforms and ability to adapt to new and emerging technologies.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with strong analytical & organizational abilities.
- Strong Knowledge of Oracle Forms & Reports will be an added advantage.
