3Shape Audio is on a journey in transforming the hearing aid industry in working digitally to improve the production of custom fit hearing aids for the convenience of the patients. The journey started around 25 years ago. Now we are on a mission to disrupt the market by automating the CAD modelling of the hearing aids using AI that will bring the production even closer to the patients.

We are expanding our engineering organization working on AI solutions that power our next-generation audio products. You will join a highly skilled, cross-functional, international team building robust desktop and web applications used daily by professionals around the world.

You will be based in our Copenhagen office and collaborate closely with colleagues in other countries, working in an agile setup focused on high quality, predictable delivery, and continuous improvement.

Your role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI and classical algorithms on 3D meshes using Python and C#
• Develop AI methods for optimizing the 3D design of custom fit hearing aids – for comfort, look and functionality.
• Work closely with audiologists to understand and define the problem
• Evaluate and document the performance of algorithms
• Participate in defining, developing and testing of MLOps procedures (data management, deployment of algorithms, etc.) for the team and wider AI organization
• Participate in knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration in the wider AI organization

What You Bring

You’ll be a great fit if you have most of the following:

• Master’s degree or a PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Physics, Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience with Machine Learning (e.g. deep neural networks, supervised and unsupervised learning), preferably within image processing or processing of 3D data
• Solid software development skills, preferably in Python and/or C#
• Mindset for quality, flexibility, creativity and emerging technologies
• Have a mindset of continuous improvement and quality within software development
