Join Twoday as a Java Developer

Do you want to help build and maintain business-critical digital solutions that support millions of citizens across Denmark?

We're looking for an experienced Java Developer to join Twoday as a permanent consultant, working full-time with one of Denmark's largest public sector organisations. You'll become part of a highly skilled development team delivering secure, scalable and modern software solutions in a complex technical environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing and maintaining enterprise Java applications
• Building REST APIs and backend services using Java and Spring
• Developing and maintaining containerised applications with Docker
• Working with Linux-based environments and modern Open Source technologies
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Supporting the transition towards cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes
• Using AI-assisted development tools to improve software development, testing and documentation
• Collaborating with architects, developers and specialists across multiple suppliers in a large-scale delivery organisation

We're looking for someone with

• Strong professional experience with Java development
• Experience with Spring Framework and REST services
• Experience with Docker and Linux
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD
• Experience with Gradle or similar build tools
• Experience working with modern Open Source technologies
• An interest in software quality, automation and continuous improvement

Experience developing or maintaining national healthcare solutions, healthcare integration platforms or other complex public sector systems is highly valued.

Experience working in a multi-supplier delivery organisation is considered an advantage.

Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or Cursor is an advantage.

Fluent Danish, both written and spoken, is a mandatory requirement.

Full-time onsite work on Amager is a mandatory requirement.
