Software Engineer

Location: Dublin, Hybrid
Duration: Initial 12-month Contract  

We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a collaborative Agile team building innovative, enterprise-grade applications for the financial services industry. You'll design and develop scalable software solutions, contribute to technical design, and work with modern cloud technologies to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain Java Spring Boot applications
  • Build RESTful APIs and distributed microservices
  • Deliver high-quality, well-tested code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams
  • Contribute to technical design and solution architecture
  • Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices

Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years' experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience with Oracle, Kafka, Kubernetes and AWS (EKS preferred)
  • Strong REST API development experience
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
  • Agile development experience
  • Familiarity with AI engineering tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable:
  • Angular or JavaScript experience
  • AWS cloud services
  • Test automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber
