An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Europe’s largest and fastest growing woodchipper manufacturer. This Mechanical Design Engineer role has been created due to growth of the market-leading brand, which stands at the forefront of innovation in Arboriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design machines from concept through to production, either independently or as part of a team.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
• Perform design validation and verification through simulations and analysis.
• Support manufacturing teams with design-related issues and improvements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Design Engineer.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and other CAD software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
• Experience in design validation and verification processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
