iOS Developer
Indexed description
iOS Engineer (Associate – Senior Associate)
- Candidates should be comfortable with AI tools to assist development and day-to-day efficiency
- Design, build, and maintain a robust, scalable multi-module iOS codebase in Swift and SwiftUI, with clean module boundaries and clear separation of concerns
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Design, and backend teams to translate requirements into polished user experiences and a consistent design system with scalable token architecture
- Build and maintain a component library in SwiftUI with a scalable design token system, custom theming via reusable UI primitives
- Apply architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture etc.) to ensure a principled, testable, and maintainable codebase
- Build local orchestration engines using BGTaskScheduler, Swift Concurrency (async/await, actors), and Combine for background task execution and long-running task architectures
- Design and maintain battery-optimized background location tracking and geofencing using Core Location, CLLocationManager, and significant-change monitoring
- Implement feature flag infrastructure (Firebase Remote Config, LaunchDarkly, etc.) for controlled rollouts, A/B testing, and instant rollback
- Integrate and maintain analytics pipelines (Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel etc) for event tracking, funnel analysis, and user behavior instrumentation; define and enforce event taxonomies and schema governance in collaboration with Product and Data teams
- Implement accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA, VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, minimum touch target sizing) across the UI layer; partner with Design to bake accessibility into the component system from the ground up
- Shape CI/CD pipelines (Xcode Cloud, GitHub Actions, Fastlane) with automated quality gates and performance regression suites
- Instrument apps with APM tooling (Firebase Performance, New Relic, MetricKit) for frame rendering, network profiling, and memory/CPU health monitoring
- Leverage AI coding tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) and agentic workflows to accelerate delivery and reduce repetitive engineering tasks
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on iOS development and AI-assisted workflows
