The Work

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Software Engineer. In this role, you will perform software development tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of coding in Java/C++ on a Linux Operating System.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate will be required to hold an active government Secret security clearance.

  • Experience in DevSecOps and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K3s) and related tooling.
  • Hands‑on experience with Helm for packaging and managing Kubernetes applications.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices and containerized legacy applications on Kubernetes clusters.
