- Designing, developing, and implementing systems software solutions that meet DoD specifications and performance standards
- Conducting thorough testing, debugging, and performance analysis to ensure software stability and optimal functionality
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate systems software with broader mission-critical applications and systems
- Preparing comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and maintenance reports
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancements and implementing best practices
- Five plus years experience in a software developer role
- One plus years experience must be with communication systems, networks, or technologies
- One plus years experience must include agile software development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain systems software that adheres to DoD operational and security requirements
- Proficient in system-level programming, utilizing languages such as C, C++, and/or Java for robust software development
- Skilled in debugging, performance tuning, and rigorous code testing to ensure software reliability and security
- Possess an active DoD secret security clearance
- Familiarity with modern development frameworks and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines) to streamline software delivery
- Experience working within agile methodologies, enabling iterative development and rapid integration
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and cybersecurity frameworks to enhance the resilience of systems software
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex system issues and recommend effective solutions
