About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Lead – React Native to lead the development of high-quality mobile applications for our digital banking platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in React Native, mobile architecture, and frontend leadership. In this role, you will lead frontend initiatives, mentor developers, and ensure the delivery of scalable and user-centric mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to deliver modern digital banking experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the frontend/mobile engineering team.
  • Define frontend architecture and development standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure engineering best practices.

Mobile Application Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native.
  • Build reusable and scalable frontend components.
  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness across mobile devices.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Collaborate with backend teams for API integrations.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical planning.

Performance & Quality

  • Optimize application performance and stability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application reliability.
  • Maintain clean, testable, and maintainable code.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 9+ years of experience in frontend or mobile development
  • 2+ years of experience leading frontend/mobile teams
  • Strong hands-on experience with React Native

Technical Skills

  • React Native
  • JavaScript (ES6+)
  • TypeScript
  • REST API integration
  • Redux / Zustand
  • Mobile application architecture
  • Git version control

Mobile Platforms

  • Experience building and maintaining applications for:
  • Android
  • iOS

Professional Skills

  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in digital banking or fintech applications
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
  • Experience with mobile debugging and performance optimization
  • Familiarity with React Query or similar state management/data-fetching libraries
