Software Engineer (Java)


We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong Java development skills to join a global technology team working on innovative web-based products and applications.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, developing high-quality software, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications using Java
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Analyze technical requirements and translate them into robust solutions
  • Develop and maintain automated tests and testing frameworks
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality
  • Work closely with distributed teams across multiple locations


Required Skills & Experience

  • 4-5 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java development
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience with JavaScript and web technologies
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Shell, or similar
  • Knowledge of software testing fundamentals and automation frameworks
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English


Nice to Have

  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
  • Experience working with animation, graphics, multimedia, or creative software products
  • Knowledge of ActionScript
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and modern web technologies
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
