Senior Mobile App Developer
Indexed description
This is a role for someone who wants to solve meaningful technical challenges, contribute to architectural direction, and work in an environment where quality, collaboration, and long-term thinking genuinely matter.
The role
You will be the main driver of mobile applications and SDKs that support our Marine products and services. Working across Android and iOS, you will help translate customer and business needs into secure, reliable, and easy-to-use solutions.
Working closely with developers, product stakeholders, and customers, you will contribute throughout the development lifecycle — from technical discussions and architectural decisions through to delivery and continuous improvement. You will be trusted to bring ideas forward, share knowledge, and help shape the future direction of our mobile platforms.
What You Will Work On
- Deliver high-quality mobile applications and SDKs for Android and iOS with a strong focus on usability, performance, and reliability.
- Build primarily in Kotlin and Swift, contributing to solutions that support secure onboard access and digital services.
- Shape architecture and technical direction by contributing to technology roadmaps and key engineering decisions.
- Collaborate closely with customers and stakeholders to refine requirements and translate real-world needs into effective solutions.
- Strengthen quality and delivery by supporting testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Share knowledge across the team and help raise technical capability through collaboration and mentoring.
- Solid experience (5+ years) developing native mobile applications for Android and iOS.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Swift, alongside modern mobile development practices.
- Experience contributing to technical design, architecture discussions, and long-term product development.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, React, Go, or Python is beneficial.
- Meaningful mission — Your work helps deliver secure access solutions that support people, operations, and experiences across the global maritime industry.
- Innovation and scale — Work with modern mobile technologies and products deployed across international markets and customer environments.
- Autonomy and trust — You are trusted to influence technical decisions, contribute to architecture, and take ownership of your work.
- Growth and development — Deepen your expertise, learn from experienced colleagues, and explore opportunities across a global organisation.
- Work–life balance — Flexible working, hybrid options, and a culture that supports wellbeing and long-term success.
