Technical Lead

📍 Brisbane (Hybrid) | Up to $200K + Super

We're a leading Australian HealthTech company whose software supports more than 22,000 healthcare specialists across 5,500 practices every day

We’re hiring multiple Tech Leads as we restructure engineering teams around product value streams and invest heavily in AI-enabled software development

This isn't a traditional Tech Lead role

• No direct reports but collaborate with other leaders
• 80% hands-on engineering, 20% technical leadership
• Work closely with Product and Design to shape solutions
• Mentor and influence engineers without relying on authority
• Help drive technical direction while remaining close to the code

You'll likely bring

• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Experience leading technical direction within a team

• Active use of AI tools in your development workflow
• The confidence to challenge ideas and contribute to healthy technical debate

Tech Stack

• Ruby on Rails
• TypeScript
• React
• AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions)

Ruby experience is highly desirable but not essential for exceptional engineers.
