Senior software engineer (f/m/d, freelance or permanent)

As a Senior Software Engineer you will work alongside our product team and support them with various tasks required in bringing the Frieda vision to life. The ideal candidate will have experience developing mobile applications as well as designing and integrating backend APIs. This position is available on either a permanent or freelance basis, with an immediate start date.

Tasks And Responsibilities

• Implement features that span across mobile and backend systems
• Write clean, secure, maintainable code that adheres to our teams best practices
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving bugs
• Support the testing and deployment of new features via CI/CD
• Participate in code reviews to receive and provide feedback
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team, product managers, UX/UI designers, medical and regulatory experts to enhance our core products
• Enthusiasm to learn technologies you’re less familiar with

• Minimum 5 years of development experience in fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in mobile frameworks such as Flutter or React Native
• Proficiency in backend development using Spring Boot/Kotlin or a comparable stack
• Good understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, or PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies, docker, or CI/CD is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for leveraging technology to improve health and well-being
