As a Software Development Engineer within the Flex Mobile Foundations organization you will contribute to the next generation mobile foundation to power fast, fluid, and interactive experiences on mobile devices worldwide.

A day in the life

Our team forms the foundation of the Amazon Flex platform, supporting multiple feature teams and enabling hundreds of thousands of delivery partners worldwide. The team's in-depth engineering practices and robust system design have resulted in excellent platform stability. We maintain efficient operations and well-structured on-call processes. Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• 5+ years of leading Mobile design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing Android systems with Kotlin and KMP.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
