At IGT PlayDigital, we design and build mobile and web casino games played by millions of players worldwide. We’re searching for talented Backend Software Engineer based in Belgrade who are passionate about gaming and ensuring seamless player experiences.

What You Will Do

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will develop and optimize server-side game logic and simulations for real-money iGaming products. You’ll work closely with designers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable game features.

• Develop and maintain backend systems and game logic
• Build and optimize game simulations
• Collaborate with game designers and cross-functional teams
• Write clean code, unit tests, and participate in code reviews
• Solve technical challenges and support timely delivery

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of software development experience (strong OOP/OOD) within iGaming industry
• Strong Java experience (JavaScript is a plus)
• BS / MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree (Math, ETF, FON)
• Experience with server-side development (full-stack is a plus)
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and testing practices
• Familiarity with cloud (AWS/GCP) and tools like Jenkins or Maven
