Retool Developer

We’re looking for a Retool Developer with strong PostgreSQL skills and a solid understanding of business operations(admin, accounting, marketing, recruitment, etc.). If you love turning business needs into efficient, data-driven apps and thrive in a fast-moving, fun, and collaborative environment—this role is for you.

🔧 What You’ll Do

🛠️ App Development

• Build and maintain custom apps using Retool’s low-code platform
• Use JavaScript and Retool Flows to enhance functionality
• Create scalable, data-powered tools for internal teams

• Design and optimize PostgreSQL queries
• Integrate with third-party services (Stripe, LINE, QuickBooks, Slack) via REST APIs
• Automate repetitive processes and workflows

• Work directly with stakeholders to understand workflows
• Translate business needs into clean, user-friendly app interfaces

• Ensure application stability, security, and performance
• Debug, test, and iterate for continuous improvement

• Retool experience – you know the platform well and its strengths/limits
• PostgreSQL + SQL proficiency – confident writing and optimizing queries
• Liquibase – a plus if you’ve used it to manage schema changes across environments
• Technical foundations – JavaScript, REST APIs, and version control
• Business understanding – you “get” how companies run and what tools make teams better
• Soft skills – proactive, clear communicator, problem-solver, and team player
