We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
- Design and develop high-end C++ components for medical desktop applications with a focus on performance, stability, and scalability.
- Architect, implement, and review complex multithreading and parallelization concepts.
- Analyze, refactor, and optimize existing codebase (QT, CMake, Conan, MSVC, and embedded CEF).
- Collaborate with Architecture, QA, and Product Management to modernize systems from legacy to modern C++ and .NET.
- Utilize AI agents and tools for refactoring, code analysis, and legacy modernization.
- Several years of senior-level experience in professional C++ development, ideally in high-performance, highly parallelized desktop systems.
- Excellent academic background in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
- Deep expertise in modern C++ (C++ 14/17/20), multithreading, concurrency, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Qt, CMake, Conan, MSVC, and integrating components such as CEF.
- Fluent German and English, both spoken and written.
