Job Title: SCADA / MES Developer
Location: Indianapolis (Onsite)
Department: IT - Manufacturing
Role Overview
We are looking for a SCADA/MES Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support manufacturing systems. The role focuses on SCADA/MES application development, system integration, and automation to support manufacturing operations and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support SCADA/MES applications
- Work with business and manufacturing teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Integrate SCADA/MES systems with PLCs, ERP, and WMS platforms
- Develop and support APIs and data integrations (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
- Perform system configuration, security management, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Support SDLC activities including design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of SCADA experience
- 1+ year of Ignition SCADA experience (mandatory)
- Experience with HMI/SCADA systems integrated with PLCs
- Strong skills in Python, SQL, and expression languages
- Understanding of MES, OEE, Track & Trace, and manufacturing workflows
- Experience with system integrations and enterprise-scale applications
- Stable job history and currently employed
- US work authorization (US Citizen / Green Card / TN Visa)
- Ability to work onsite in Indianapolis
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
