About The Role

We’re at an exciting stage: small team, big ambition, real momentum, and the resources to move fast. You won’t sit in a corner polishing tickets someone else wrote for you. You’ll be close to the product, close to the founders, and close to the decisions that shape what we build.

We’re looking for someone deeply comfortable with JavaScript and React Native who can own meaningful parts of the mobile product, make smart technical decisions, and move quickly without lowering the bar. Someone who enjoys the messiness of early-stage building, knows when to ship, knows when to slow down, and takes pride in building things that feel great to use.

This is not a corporate engineering role. We’re a young, tight-knit team that moves fast, works hard, and cares a lot about the product we’re putting into the world. If you want ownership, speed, and the chance to help define the engineering culture from the beginning, we’d love to meet you.

We are incredibly excited about how AI is re-shaping the way software engineering works. We have a large budget for individual use of AI and spend a lot of time thinking and implementing AI to allow us to deliver more value to our customers while staying a relatively small team.

What You’ll Do

Build the product

• Own major parts of our mobile app built with React Native
• Write clean, reliable JavaScript/TypeScript that can scale as the product and team grow
• Work closely with product, design, and the founders to turn ideas into polished user experiences
• Move quickly from concept to implementation, without waiting for perfect specs
• Build features end-to-end, from UI to state management, API integration, testing, and release
• Debug tricky issues across iOS, Android, and backend integrations
• Care about the details: performance, animations, responsiveness, edge cases, and the small moments that make a product feel high quality

• Make thoughtful architecture decisions while keeping the codebase simple and practical
• Set a high bar for code quality, product thinking, and ownership
• Improve our development processes as we grow, without adding unnecessary bureaucracy
• Help choose tools, patterns, and practices that make the team faster
• Mentor future engineers as the team expands
• Bring clarity when things are ambiguous, and momentum when things are stuck

• Strong experience building production apps with React Native
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
• A product-minded engineer who cares about what users actually experience, not just whether the code works
• Someone senior enough to own large pieces of work independently, but humble enough to jump into whatever needs doing
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to reason through complex product and technical problems
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup where priorities can change and not everything is perfectly defined
• Good taste in UI, UX, and mobile product quality
• Clear communication and a bias toward action
• Excitement about working closely with a small, ambitious team in person

• Experience building consumer mobile products
• Experience with Expo, native modules, app store releases, or mobile CI/CD
• Experience with backend development, APIs, or full-stack product work
• Experience in an early-stage startup
• Previous experience helping define engineering culture, hiring, or technical standards

This role is based in either our Madrid or Miami office. We believe this stage of company-building works best when people are together, so we’re looking for someone who can spend meaningful time in one of our offices.
