Software Architect

We’re looking for an experienced Software Architect to lead the design of complex Java-based software systems that operate in close integration with hardware platforms and embedded environments.

About the Role

You’ll work hand-in-hand with hardware, electronics, and firmware engineering teams to architect scalable, high-performance systems powering real-world devices and connected products.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-grade Java systems for hardware-integrated products
• Design scalable backend services, APIs, messaging, and distributed system components
• Collaborate closely with hardware and embedded engineering teams throughout system design
• Define system architecture, integration patterns, and communication protocols between software and hardware layers
• Drive technical decisions across performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Java and modern software architecture patterns
• 12+ years of experience designing systems interacting with hardware, embedded devices, or electronics platforms
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, messaging, APIs, and integration protocols
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Architect mindset with strong ownership and systems thinking

The role requires relocation to Abu Dhabi.
