Software Engineer (.NET/C#)

At Gaming A/S, the company behind Spillehallen.dk, we're looking for a Software Engineer who wants to help build and improve one of Denmark's best online gaming platforms.

We're not looking for someone who simply implements tickets.

We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding the business, challenging existing solutions, improving systems, and building technology that creates real value for our players and our company.

Our platform processes thousands of transactions every day and integrates with payment providers, gaming suppliers, compliance systems, identity providers, and a growing ecosystem of internal services. Simplicity, stability, quality, and compliance matter just as much as new features.

What you'll be working with

As part of our development team, you'll be involved in all aspects of software development.

One day you may be improving our event-driven architecture.

The next day you might be integrating a new payment provider, expanding our service platform, improving automated testing, optimizing infrastructure, or helping define how AI can accelerate engineering across the organization.

You'll work closely with developers, product owners, operations, compliance, and management, and you'll have real influence on both technical and business decisions.

We're continuously evolving our architecture toward more service-oriented and cloud-native solutions where it creates value, while maintaining a pragmatic approach to infrastructure and operations.

We already use AI-assisted development tools such as Codex, and we're looking for someone who can help us take the next step in leveraging AI throughout our engineering processes.

What we're looking for

We're less interested in titles and more interested in mindset.

You likely have several years of experience building software professionally and are comfortable taking ownership of solutions from idea to production.

You enjoy:

• Improving existing solutions rather than rewriting everything

• Learning new technologies when they create value

Experience with Event Sourcing, messaging systems, cloud platforms, or highly regulated environments is a plus, but not a requirement.
