Android Kotlin Developer

We are seeking a skilled Android Kotlin Developer with 4-6 yrs of experience to join our development team. As an Android Kotlin Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mobile applications for the Android platform using the Kotlin programming language. Your primary focus will be on building high-quality, reliable, and scalable applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and develop advanced Android applications using the Kotlin programming language, following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while considering performance, security, and scalability.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality, usability, and stability of the applications.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party libraries to enhance application capabilities.
• Optimize application performance and memory consumption to ensure smooth and responsive user experiences.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Android development and Kotlin language features.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of developed applications and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Maintain proper documentation of the code, including design documents, technical specifications, and user guides.

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Android app development using Kotlin.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Proficiency in using Android Studio, Git, and other relevant development tools.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration.
• Knowledge of database management systems and SQLite.
• Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
