Junior/Mid Android Application Developer

About the role

We are looking for an Junior/Mid Android Application Developer to join our team and contribute to the development, optimization and maintenance of Android system applications for mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system applications, covering full cycle from requirements through code writing, self-testing and deployment
• Ensure the stability, smoothness and performance of system applications through lightweight design, decoupling and architecture optimization
• Participate in debugging, root cause analysis and issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software delivery and product improvements

Requirements

• Solid experience in Android engineering development; mobile phone development background preferred
• Strong programming skills in Java and/or C++; Kotlin experience is a plus.
• Good understanding of Android application architecture, framework components, multithreading, and system-level development concepts
• Hands-on experience with Android performance optimization and debugging tools
• Prior experience with System-level applications (KeyguardSystemUI, Launcher, Settings) is a strong advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
• Languages: fluent English; Chinese language skills are a strong plus

Nice-to-have skills

• Experience with Android platform customization or system-level development
• Familiarity with mobile chipset platforms and embedded systems
