Mobile Engineer

Responsibilities 1 :

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement and maintain applications using MVVM.
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs.
• Write unit tests to ensure code robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Participate in the full lifecycle development process, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills 1 :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of proven software development experience and iOS skills development.
• With at least 4 years of experience in Swift.
• Experienced with Cocopods, Swift Package Manager.
• Proven working experience in iOS app development and have published at least one original iOS app.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket.
• Experience with iOS SDK and working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.

Desired Skills 1 :

• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Understanding of Apple’s iOS design principles and interface guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multinational environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Japanese reading ability.
