Sr Software Engineer

As a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer, you will be at the core of our mission—building robust, scalable Mobile and Web app flows as well as the corresponding API endpoints to support them, with the focus on creating a delightful experience for the customer.

You will work across a modern software stack to ingest, process, and serve high-volume telemetry from HVAC, security, and energy systems. You will partner with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and platform engineers to drive the implementation of hardware installation, data visualization and real-time alerting. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments and possesses strong software design and coding skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and maintain scalable, reliable Mobile and Web applications to support connected HVAC and smart home devices.
• Collaborate with cloud, product, and AI/ML teams to deliver software capabilities that support new features and customer experiences.
• Contribute to platform improvements and help establish engineering patterns, templates, and documentation.

• 4-6+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on UX or mobile app development.
• Strong understanding of .NET, C# and networking.
• Strong skills in at least one framework (e.g. Xamarin/MAUI or Flutter, etc…) developing for both iOS and Android.
• Understanding of database design and utilization.
• Hands-on experience with product launch and go to market strategies.

• Exposure to connected devices or IoT-related systems.
• Ability to traverse the entire software stack.
• Knowledge of HVAC, smart home, or industrial systems a plus.
• Experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD and GitHub actions.
• A pragmatic mindset—balancing engineering excellence with speed and business impact.
• A strong sense of ownership and pride in shipping high-quality, maintainable systems.

Hiring Salary Range : The typical hiring salary for this role, ranges from USD $101820.0 to $173380.0 per year but varies by specific work location. Within a range, Resideo determines base pay for an individual based on various factors, including market conditions, skills, and experience.

Incentive Eligible (SIP) : This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus of up to 10% of your annual salary, and prorated based on hire date. Attaining your sales target qualifies you for 100% of your annual sales incentive, while surpassing sales targets during the performance period enables you to earn additional incentive pay.
