Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Princeton, NJ is $137,088.00 to $184,926.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Contribute to R&D projects developing novel software technologies for industrial automation engineering. Design and build software prototypes aiming to solve real-world problems in industry. Design, implement, test, optimize, and document software components. Perform feasibility studies and evaluate new technological approaches. Work with internal customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Present our innovative technology to internal customers and acquire new projects. Utilize cutting edge research findings and technologies to address industry challenges. Support researchers with the generation of patents, scientific publications, and research proposals.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (will accept 3 or 4 year foreign degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Information Technology or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineering-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: 3 years of experience developing software for industrial automation engineering; 3 years of experience in software development in C#/.NET; 2 years of experience with CI/CD / DevOps pipelines and version control such as Github or TFVC; 3 years of experience working with clients/ cross-functional departments, identifying user needs and driving the development of impactful, user-focused automation engineering solutions. Telecommuting and/or working from home is permitted pursuant to company policy. 15% of domestic and international travel is required.
