As Production Line Support, you will be at the Production Line support at SLP as required to support smooth production, in addition to warranty and returns SW activities, including First Level analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead communication between customer and internal teams, ensuring proper communication with customers, program management, engineering product groups, commercial, R&D, test, warranty, and logistics
- Support software deliverable definition by release including usage, release documentation
- Be on-site at customer locations for hands on support of component integration and vehicle testing: Onsite flashing, troubleshooting and debugging during customer bench testing, customer vehicle tests, and vehicle production
- Support all troubleshooting, problem-solving, root cause analysis activities on field issues, during customer builds through program launch with support of all Power teams
- Report and escalate to technical project manager or R&D manager as needed to ensure successful launch
- Support discussion with customer software teams on architecture, strategy, integration and implementation
- Ensure proper communication with customers & global product teams,
- Review engineering documents with the customer, ensure the customer is comprehending all technical aspects, providing feedback to customer questions
- Interpretation and cascading of customer and platform requests and needs
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in Software Development & vehicle electrification at an OEM or Tier 1
- Hands-on experience in SW Flashing process and Bootloader usage
- Hand on experience with hardware testing and measurement tools
- Good knowledge in Microcontrollers
- Experience of Software development and implementation methods and tools, including V-cycle activities
- Problem solving/root-cause analysis experience
- Experienced in Requirement management, traceability and configuration management.
- Good understanding of Diagnostics (UDS,OBD,XCP,...)
- Knowledge in communication protocols CAN, CAN-FD, LIN,.. etc.
- People-oriented, conflict resolving personality, strong relationship builder
- Good interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Required: B.S. in Electrical engineering or comparable study paths
- Fluent in English and Spanish
