The Monetization Product Partnerships team sits at the intersection of technology, advertising, and business growth. We build and scale the partner ecosystem that enables businesses to thrive on TikTok - spanning AI, campaign management, commerce, data & measurement, and content & community management.

About the Role
We are looking for a Partnerships Lead to drive business development and partner management in Japan, our fast-growing market in APAC. You will own both new partner acquisition and the growth of existing relationships, working with solutions designed to help businesses unlock TikTok's full advertising potential.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders - including Product, Strategy, Legal, Sales and Marketing - to develop innovative ways for consumers to interact with the products, services, and experiences they love.
Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Source, qualify, and close new strategic partnerships aligned with TikTok's ads monetization strategy.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with cross-functional teams to leverage partners to acquire new advertisers and amplify TikTok for Business at a scale.
- Partner Growth: Drive product adoption of monetization integrations and solutions across the existing partner base; identify opportunities to expand coverage and bring more advertisers onto TikTok.
- Deal & Integration Management: Project-manage end-to-end deal processes and technical integrations with external partners.
- Operational Excellence: Own annual planning, OKRs, reporting cadences, and contract management; proactively identify and resolve business blockers.
- External Representation: Serve as a trusted face of TikTok in executive-level meetings with partners, demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s):
- 5+ years of client-facing partnerships or business development experience in the Japan market.
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising industry, with familiarity across major media platforms and ad-tech players in Japan.
- Demonstrated ability to present to and influence audiences at all levels of seniority, both internally and externally.
- Quantitative and analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions.
- Fluency in both Japanese and English is essential - for engaging external stakeholders in Japan and collaborating effectively within a global team.
Preferred Qualification(s):
- Experience developing and shipping complex product integrations with third-party platforms.
- Background in growth marketing or performance marketing initiatives.
- Familiarity with the South Korea ad-tech ecosystem is a strong plus
