About The Role
We are seeking a highly driven, hands-on Technical Lead to join the Trideca Engineering Leadership Team, focusing primarily on our mobile applications with potential crossover into our web and CMS platforms.
This role is not for a spectator. We are looking for a proactive go-getter, a energetic leader who is just as comfortable designing high-level architecture as they are rolling up their sleeves to debug code, write documentation, or tackle whatever needs to be done to get the project across the finish line. This leader will drive alongside their team, earn trust by "doing" and not delegating. No task will be beneath you and you will have a passion for delivering world-class mobile experiences.

What You'll Do
- Lead from the Front: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and relentless problem-solving.
- Mobile Architecture & Delivery: Own the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of our mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
- Hands-On Execution: Actively write code, perform code reviews, and tackle complex technical challenges. Be ready to jump into any part of the stack or project lifecycle when the team needs support.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and QA to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
- Drive Best Practices: Champion code quality, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile methodologies to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
- System Integration: Oversee the integration of mobile applications with backend APIs, third-party services, and internal content management systems.
- Extensive Mobile Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience with a deep, proven background in mobile development (Native iOS/Swift, Native Android/Kotlin, or cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter).
- Leadership Experience: 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing a team of software engineers.
- The "Go-Getter" Mindset: A demonstrated track record of taking extreme ownership. You are a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, proactively identifies problems, and takes on any work necessary to ensure team success.
- Architectural Chops: Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture), state management, and scalable app design.
- Agile Proficiency: Experience operating in fast-paced Agile/Scrum environments.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM): Experience integrating mobile applications with AEM (especially AEM Headless) or direct experience developing/leading teams within the AEM ecosystem.
- CMS Familiarity: A solid understanding of content management concepts, content delivery networks (CDNs), and how to effectively serve dynamic content to mobile apps.
- Full-Stack Knowledge: Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js, Java, Python) or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
