I'm working with a cybersecurity company whose product is a mobile SDK embedded inside banking applications.

Not a mobile app team.

Not a feature factory.

The SDK is the product.

It runs inside some of the most sensitive mobile environments in the world, helping financial institutions understand whether a device can be trusted, whether malware is present, and whether suspicious activity is taking place.

This creates a very different set of engineering challenge.

You don't control the app.

You don't control the device.

You don't control the release cycle.

Yet the SDK still needs to be stable, performant, backwards compatible and developer-friendly.

That's where you come in.

I'm looking for a technically strong Android engineer who has led people before, Not an architect, not a manager.

A genuine Android engineer who can provide technical direction, mentor others, make good decisions and still enjoy getting hands-on with Kotlin.

You'll probably have spent time around:

• SDKs
• Shared mobile platforms
• Libraries
• Large Android codebases
• Architecture & modularisation
• Developer tooling

The kind of engineer who asks:

"How do we solve this once, properly?"

rather than:

"How quickly can we ship it?"

Small team of 4, to be 6. Serious Android engineering. Interesting problems.
