Founding Full-Stack Engineer (React Native)

UK Remote with once a month in person London

£70,000–£100,000 Salary + Equity package

Our customer is an early-stage healthtech startup building a mobile-first fitness platform for postpartum mothers. Having successfully validated the core product through a live WhatsApp cohort, they're now looking for a founding engineer to help turn that proven experience into a scalable app.

What you'll build

• Personalised onboarding based on postpartum recovery
• Daily check-ins that recommend tailored workouts
• A rules-based workout matching engine
• Video content library
• Subscriptions and payments
• Progress tracking and sharing features

About you

You'll have around 3+ years' full-stack experience and enjoy building products from the ground up.

More importantly, you're comfortable working independently, making product decisions alongside technical ones, and collaborating closely with founders in an early-stage environment.

Team

The team is currently the non technical co-founders and a semi technical product lead. You will be joining as the first engineering team member.

Tech

The app will be built in React Native for iOS and Android. The backend architecture is still being defined, giving you the opportunity to influence key technical decisions alongside a fractional CTO.

Location

Candidates must be UK-based. Sponsorship currently not available for this role.

The team is remote-first, with monthly meet-ups and occasional in-person workshops during the early stages of the build.
