Eaton is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Tczew, Poland.

What you'll do:

The person in this position will be responsible for conducting analyses and preparing financial reports that support company management, in compliance with US GAAP, SOX, Eaton policies and procedures, and Polish accounting requirements.

Main responsibilities:
• Preparing company financials (multiple legal entities in scope, mainly Poland)
• Participating in the month-end closing process and financial forecasting in accordance with US GAAP standards, supporting compliance and audits
• Preparing reports for management needs,
• Working with collegues located around the world on finance topics, continuous improvements etc, using multiple digital tools and learning new digital tools
• Ensure control environment. Adherence to all Eaton Policies, US GAAP, SOX and local statutory/tax compliance requirements must be maintained
• Partner with the business and finance organization to support all stategic initiatives in the region
• Drive optimization through standardization, simplification and automation of financial processes within the organization
• Support business & accounting and controls processes improvements and transitions
• Support all statutory, tax, customs and internal audits
• Support month end closing and monthly reconciliation activities
• Ethical standards must be maintained at all times

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in finance, accounting, or management,
• Minimum 1 year of experience in controlling, finance, or accounting,

Skills:

• Ability to work with financial and accounting systems,
• Strong analytical skills,
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel,
• Very good command of Polish and English, both spoken and written.
