Role Purpose
The Technical Consultant (TC) will be responsible for Implementation Services for a Verint provided solution into a customer site, partner cloud or Verint Cloud solution. The role requires a wide range of technical knowledge to deliver Customer Experience Solutions including; Workforce Engagement, Knowledge Management, Channel & Desktop Automation and Voice of the Customer.
The candidate will be expected to configure the Verint product suite as well as integrate the solution to customer’s environment.
Success will be measured by ensuring that the customer is satisfied, the installations and integrations meet all requirements of the design and that the solution has been completed to agreed quality standards.
The TC will work with Project Managers, Application Consultants and Design Architects to deliver projects to customers as defined in the statement of work (SOW). The TC will be expected to communicate with customers to understand requirements and gather information, input into the technical planning of the project as well as clearly documenting the final technical solution to hand over to the Support organisation.
Some of your responsibilities:
- To complete the installation and configuration of the Verint product suite according to the requirements detailed in the project documentation. The TC will need to ensure accuracy and consistency is maintained whilst keeping updated with current Verint operating standards and how they are applied.
- Understand the final solution and work collaboratively with the Project Manager to define the plan to achieve this state.
- Work closely with Services & Support to ensure a smooth project delivery and transition into the Support and Customer Success organisations. Ensure that project handover documentation (HoTs) is completed to increase the support effectiveness.
- Participate in ongoing training and development, to ensure skills are kept up to date.
- Communicate relevant issues to Management, Support, Product House and to other members of the Project Team.
- To provide regular and accurate updates to the Project Manager and Team Leader as part of weekly team calls.
Experience:
- Experience with deploying and configuring software systems into Customer environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise software applications.
- Experience of deploying software solutions into Cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud
- Knowledge of industry specific security standards and how to apply them to a customer’s environment.
- Knowledge of Networking and Authentication mechanisms (OAUTH & Token Based)
- Experience in working with REST and SOAP API’s
- Experience in working with a variety of traditional and cloud-based Databases
Desirable:
- Experience in the following areas and tools; SIPREC, secure web transport
